Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile application Fellowship of LOTR (“App”, “Service”), published by Agile Conqueror Company, represented by Hakan Çevik (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App and to make any purchases through your Google Play account.
Description of the Service
Fellowship of LOTR is a commercial entertainment app that may include, among other features:
- Quizzes, memory games, puzzles, and lore content
- A personal journal / archive with optional photos and audio
- A soundboard of film dialogue clips
- 3D model viewing, daily missions, themes, and in-app rewards
- Optional rewarded advertisements and premium subscription benefits
We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features at any time without prior notice. The App is provided on an “as available” basis.
License & Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
- Circumvent payment, subscription, or unlock systems
- Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Upload or distribute content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law
- Interfere with the App’s operation, servers, or other users’ experience
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its content without our written consent
User Content
Content you create in the App (such as journal entries, photos, or audio notes) is stored primarily on your device. You retain ownership of your content. You are solely responsible for the content you create and for obtaining any permissions needed to use images, audio, or other materials you attach to entries.
By using optional image search, you understand that search queries may be sent to third-party services (such as Pixabay) under their terms and policies.
Virtual Currency (Mithril Coins)
The App may include a virtual in-app currency called Mithril Coins (“Coins”). Coins have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded except where required by law or Google Play policy.
Coins may be earned through gameplay, missions, rewarded ads, or purchased as consumable in-app products through Google Play. We may change Coin pricing, rewards, or availability at any time. Unused Coins may be lost if you uninstall the App or clear app data.
Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
The App offers optional premium subscriptions (e.g., monthly and yearly plans) and consumable purchases (Mithril Coin packs). All billing is processed by Google Play and managed through our billing partner RevenueCat.
Subscription benefits may include, while your subscription is active:
- Ad-free or reduced-ad experience
- Access to premium content (e.g., card designs, 3D relics, puzzle categories, soundboard quotes)
- Daily bonus Coins and other premium perks described in the App
- A premium title displayed in the App
Some plans may include a free trial (e.g., 3 days) where offered by Google Play. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and renew according to Google Play’s billing cycle.
Renewals & cancellation:
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through Google Play
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions
- Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription
- Use “Restore purchases” in the App if you reinstall or switch devices
Refunds for purchases and subscriptions are handled according to Google Play’s terms and refund policies. We do not control Google’s refund decisions.
Advertisements
Free users may see rewarded video advertisements through Google AdMob. Watching ads is optional unless required to claim a specific in-app reward. Premium subscribers may receive an ad-free experience as described in the App. Ad availability may vary by region and device.
Intellectual Property
The App, its original code, layout, and branding created by us are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party content in the App — including film dialogue clips, images, fonts, and lore references — may be subject to separate copyrights and licenses.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of the App or any third-party intellectual property. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of App content is prohibited.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party services including Google Play, Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat, and Pixabay. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AGILE CONQUEROR COMPANY, HAKAN ÇEVİK, AND OUR AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US THROUGH THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Agile Conqueror Company and Hakan Çevik from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the App, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
